Will there be a sales pitch?
No pitch. The session is teaching, start to finish. I run VoiceDart and I am happy to talk about it if you ask me afterwards, but nothing in the morning is a sell.
Is it really free?
Yes, completely. This is my first public workshop, so the deal is simple: you get a genuinely useful morning, and I get a room to teach in.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Everything is in plain English. If you can send an email, you have all the technical skill the morning needs.
What should I bring?
A laptop if you can, so you can build along in the room. A phone works fine too, you will watch it built and the page you take away has everything you need to set it up at home in a few minutes.
What happens after I register?
Your confirmation arrives straight away. Closer to the day you get the practical details, parking included, and a reminder so it does not sneak up on you.
Where do I park?
Parking details come with your confirmation email, with the closest options to the venue and what they cost.
Can I bring a colleague or business partner?
Yes, gladly. Seats are individual, so just make sure you each register on Eventbrite while there is space.
I have access needs, will I be okay?
Tell us by replying to your confirmation email and we will make sure everything is sorted before you arrive.
What if I can’t make it after all?
